Greetings from the valley of the sun! We had a great Easter and really enjoyed the warmer weather. We spent the day just relaxing and playing with "rocket ballons" that grandma and grandpa Palmer sent us. All the kids loved them except for Kenzie, who would cry just at the site of them. We had a great day with an easter egg hunt the day before in the rain. The first rain that they had seen here in two months. But rain or shine the party went on and it was a lot of fun with face painting, egg hunts and races.
We are really enjoying Arizona and have now been here just over a month. Kayley and Cameron are really enjoying school and are getting to make new friends. They both ride the bus that picks them up just by the park that is right by our house, which is really nice. Cory is having fun staying at home and chasing the lizards. He hasn't been able to catch one, but just give him time. This one is just about as big as he is.
When we first arrived here in Gilbert we went to the Phoenix zoo. Which is where we say the lizard that is as big as Cory. Later you will see the lizards he has been chasing in our yards. We had a great time at the zoo and was really the first time for Cory and Kenzie at the Zoo. It is a really nice zoo with great walkways and you are able to up close to a lot of the animals. Kenzie really enjoyed the monkeys which were right up close to you as you were in the cage with them.
