Boy's Night

Brent had to work the Saturday of our Father's and Son's so he wasn't able to take them camping, but bbq'd hot dogs for dinner and let them watch TV while they ate. They were in heaven. I took Kayley to a friend from the ward house and had dinner with them. Kenzie was taking a nap when I left so she got to hang out with the Boys when she woke up.

I love how the boys were watching Brent instead of looking at the camera like they were supposed to.

Daddy's Girl

I thought that this was just the cutest picture (yes I am a little prejudice), so I wanted to post it. Kenzie does love her daddy. She gets super excited when he comes home from work.

Yeah for Krispy Kreme!!!

The Arizona Krispy Kreme stores had a promotion on May 13th that if you added "Doughnut Dan" as a friend to facebook you could get a card for a FREE donut for a year. 365 Free donuts!! Brent and I both joined facebook and got a card. The kids were just as happy as I was. I would be even happier if I didn't have to drive 15-20 minutes to the closest store. But I'm not going to complain, I will just enjoy it.

Cameron's Tooth

Cameron had his first to come out on it's own come out on Mother's Day. He has had two other teeth knocked out and two more pulled (one was absessed and the other got pulled at the same time). So he was excited to finally lose one the right way.

This is the tooth box that he put his tooth in and the "Tooth Fairy" put his money in. The pink one is Kayley's, but he was borrowing it since I hadn't found his orange one (which I found in a box a few days later).

Happy Mothers Day!

Feliz dia de los madres!

Here are just a few pictures of our wonderful Mothers day today. It was a great day and always is because it is the one day of the year that the kids are actually good ( at least for a little while).

Here are the wonderful gift that I received, a homemade card from the kids, cooking idea books from my parents and a wonderful angels book from my in-laws. You won't see the chocolate bar I received from the ward it never had a chance.

AHHHHH Mothers Day!!!

I Finally got my ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!

Kayley promised to do everything that I would do during a normal day. What an great helper and an angel. She washed all the dishes from breakfast and lunch and with six of us it is no small task.

Moving Kenzie!

Kenzie is really starting to grow up. There are a lot of weeds here in Arizona and I guess she has become one of them. Something in the sun that just makes them grow. Since we moved to Arizona in March, just over two months ago, she began crawling, now has 4 teeth and just begun to walk. She was slow starting but is moving now. She has had a lot of fun walking this week between Brent & I or towards the other kids. This video is when she was walking between I and Kayley. She is so special and can't help but bring a smile to your face. Enjoy!

Grampa and Grandma's visit

We were so lucky to have Grampa and Grandma Palmer come visit us for three days. The kids were so excited when they heard the "Grandma knock" at the door. We hadn't told them that they were coming so they were very surprised! We had a lot of fun together. It went by way to fast, but we are very thankful that they made the trip down.Cory especially loved having them here because I can be pretty boring. He got to have their undivided attention all day (especially when Kenzie was sleeping).

This was taken just before Kayley and Cameron left for school and Grampa and Grandma left for Utah.

Kenzie is growing up

Kenzie took her first steps Friday night right before bed. We tried to get video of Kenzie walking back and forth between Brent and I but it turned out too dark. So this clip so her walking to Cory, then crawling back to me.

This week she also had two top teeth pop out, so she has three total. She also has started signing "please," "more," and "milk." She also has said "izard" which translates into lizards. She loves to go outside and watch them run on our fence. She is growing up too fast. I got to enjoy her as a "baby" longer than any of my other kids so I guess it is time she starts doing more. The other three were walking before one, and so I have enjoyed having her not walking yet, but it won't be much longer now.

This is one of the lizards we see all the time in our backyard. I am still suprised I was able to get close enough to get this shot.

Golf in the Park

We decided to spend a few minutes at the park letting everyone practice their golf swings. Brent has a potential to go golfing with people from work (and get paid for it-tough job), so he decided since it has been over three years since he spent some time on a golf course he better get some practice. Plus he wanted to make sure he could golf, since his hand has never been the same since he broke it.
And I thought you always needed two hands to golf, but I guess I was wrong.

Cory has the right idea. The ball may not go far, but at least he'll hit it.

I know Brent needed practice, but didn't realize it was this bad. (I'm just kidding.)

Cory was done and off riding into the sunset.
