I have a bunch of photos waiting to be uploaded. Unfortunately our computer is sick. It has a virus and that is where our pictures are. I need to figure out how to do it from Brent's laptop so I can update.

I took Kenzie to the doctor today and found out she almost has pneumonia. Not quite there but close. When the doctor told me she needed antibiotics I told her that it is extremely hard to give her medicine. I had tried last night and she gagged so much she threw it up. I have to give it to her once a day for five days. I just hope I can get it down her. Today I got about half the dose in her. Hopefully tomorrow goes better. This is the conversation Brent had with Kenzie tonight while at our ward mission correlation meeting.
Kenzie: I spit out my medicine.
Brent: you need to take all of your medicine to get better.
Kenzie: I already better. I feel fine.
She is so cute and says the cutest things. I will call her silly and she reminds me that she will tell me, "I not silly, I funny."

Satuday I had Brent help me cut Hannah's hair. It looked like she had old man hair. It has taken alot of getting used to but it looks better. She looks even more like Kenzie since she didn't have any hair at this age either. (I'll post pictures later.)

Cameron

At school the all three kids are doing running club this year. They stay after school and run laps around the building in preparation for the meets they have in Jan. and Feb. Well this past Monday they received their new running club shirts. Cameron decided he didn't want to wear it so he was holding it as he was running. At one point he was swinging it and it landed on his head covering his face. The next thing that happened was him running into a corner of the school building. This is what it looked like 5 hours later:

As he was explaining what happened he told me, "Now I know it isn't wise to run with something over my head." I am so glad he has learned this wisdom. Although I did have an I told you so moment. I have asked them several (hunderd) times to not walk/run around with something covering their faces. I am glad he knows now that I wasn't saying it just to be mean. I really don't want him to get hurt and am looking out for him.

Crazy day/ Hand painting

Crazy day at School!

Kayley wanted to have one side summer and one side winter.

Cory loved having half a mohawk.

Last Saturday we went to a new housing development to get free lunch and they were handing out these shirts and doing face painting.

This is what happens when you take a nap with paint on your hand. I wish I would have taken another picture a few minutes later. It looked like she had a black eye and a big bruise on her cheek. Needless to say she wasn't too sad to see the cardinal be washed off after that, no matter how much she loved it.
She is such a silly girl. But who can resist that cute, sweet face and smile?

Halloween

I didn't get a picture with all of the kids in their costumes, but I'm going to try to do that. But for Halloween we got together with Johnson's and had a fun party. We had "mummy" dogs for dinner and then bobbed for apples and had donuts on a string. It was alot of fun.

For costumes this year Kayley was Miss "Smartie" pants, Cameron was a Rubix cube, Cory was a football player, Kenzie was a princess, and Hannah was a bee.

(Kenzie isn't in the pictures because she wanted to watch a movie instead of having fun with the rest of us. Hannah was behind the camera with me most of the time.)

Cory finally gave up and just grabbed his apple. He didn't want to get soaked like the others.

DANGLING DONUTS

Cameron had a hard time not using his hands or body. But at least was good entertainment for the rest of us to watch.

The stick got knocked off the chair and hit me in the head. I still think I should have been declared the winner by default of injury. :)

I made the donuts. This was my second time making donuts (the first being earlier in the week to see if I could do it.) It was fun and they were really yummy.

Happy belated birthday

My brother Jared and his family just moved to Arizona (YEA) in time to celebrate his birthday here. Unfortunately I didn't get very many pictures and the two I did get were blurry, oh well.

I love his facial expressions.

Jared decided to make his own birthday cake this year. What could have been more appropriate? Good job.

Catch up

I realized that I haven't done alot of posts lately so I am going to catch up on pictures.

I was trying to take this picture with the camera off to the side, so that is why it isn't centered. I love it though because it really shows her beautiful smile. She is laughing and smiling so much it is alot of fun.

Grandma Reed came for a visit during fall break in October. We took her to the Phoenix Zoo. It was a lot of fun. We didn't get any pictures of the visiting Koala bears because they were sleeping. Kenzie will still tell us that once in a while.

Cameron wanted to try and hatch the ostrich eggs again. (When we went to the zoo the first time he did this.)

I can't believe how much bigger they are from a year and a half ago. (To see the difference look at the post from our first zoo trip. Sorry I don't know how to put the link on for that post.)

Cameron kept saying the turtle was giving the other one a piggy back ride. We decided to let him think that. I wish I could have recorded it with the sound. It was quite funny listening to the grunting. The wonderful educational experiences we can have at the zoo.

I love being a mom! I have the cutest kids. I love snuggling with them.
Hannah is getting so big. She thinks so too.

Football is what is keeping us busy right now.

Final Part - Labor Day

On Labor Day, all of Brent's family left to go home. My parents stayed one more day. So they took us to the Arizona Sea Life Aquarium at the Arizona Mills Mall. It was fun. The kids really enjoyed getting up close to all the different fish and sea creatures. It was funny when they would be standing right next to the glass turn around to tell us something and then turn back around to the glass and find something in their faces. It really freaked them out. It happened to Cameron and Kenzie that I am aware of. I learned they can jump backwards really fast.

It was dark and I couldn't use the flash inside the aquarium.

This is a dance pad that is on the floor that changed after stepping on three of the moving fish. The kids loved this, especially Kenzie.

More blessing pictures

Since we didn't get any family pictures of us the day of the blessing we set the camera up the other day and did these ones. I know I'm a little biased, but I think I have the most gorgeous kids around. :)
