A beautiful March day at the Phoenix Zoo

Help we are about to be eaten!!!

The zoo had a lot of hands on things for the kids. The got to sit on animal statues, sit in a clam shell, pet goats, and see a huge variety of fun animals. There were not only the normal variety of giraffes, elephant, lions, and tigers, but also flamingos, cheetahs running around, small monkeys that were right next to us, and a petting zoo with goats, sheep, and cows.

This little monkey was right in front of Kenzie and she thought it was so cool. That was really the first time of the day that she got really excited to see one of the animals. She liked seeing the other animals, but I would say that the monkeys were her favorite part of the day.

"Beautiful Princess Kenzie Mae" sitting on her royal throne. Where are the servants?

"Look, Mom. I caught a new pet. Can I keep it?"

"Maybe if I stand still it won't see me and step on me."

"We can't leave yet. The eggs aren't done hatching."

"I'm ready for my ride."

"Is it still behind me?"

Cory was the only one of the kids that would pet the goat.

We all had a lot of fun.
