For this week's Family Home Evening we told the scripture story of Ammon and what a great example he was for us to follow. He followed what the Lord told him to do, and ended up converting lots of Lamanites.
We found some swords at Dollar Tree and let the kids re-enact the story. Cameron was our Ammon, and the others were the Lamanite robbers.
Cameron did a great job defending the "sheep."

You do such fun things for FHE. What a great way to teach kids. I might have to use some of your ideas someday.
oh how fun! such a good idea to let them act it out! i'll bet it sticks lots better that way!
