I told you so....

Yesterday morning I was walking up the stairs to see if Hannah was awake when I heard Cameron start crying really hard.  I just figured he and Cory were rough housing again, but when I didn't hear anything from Cory I knew they weren't.  He had been dared by his younger brother to roll off the bunk bed (thankfully just the lower one) onto blankets on the floor.  Well since boys can't turn down a dare he did it and in the process hit his face on the board.  I just wanted to say I told you so at that moment but bit my tongue.  I had asked them not to play and just get ready for school (just like I ask every morning), but instead of listening they decided to do what they wanted.

This was taken about 30 minutes later right before we left for school.  I wish I could've gotten a better picture, but any closer and it went white.

Bonus picture:
Hannah can be very picky about what she wears.  Kenzie helped her pick out an outfit but when I wouldn't put the shorts on she started throwing a fit.  So this was the solution that she was happy with and only lasted a matter of minutes.

1st picture of our new addition

I went to the doctor today and it was confirmed there is only one baby.  We have had a lot of people try to tell us we were having twins, but thankfully there is only one.  Brent thinks the picture looks like a peanut.
(Not sure why it turned sideways.  When I looked at it on the computer it was normal.)

Thanksgiving Program

Cory's class had a Thanksgiving program today.  It was really cute.
They did a great job.
Waiting for all the parents to arrive so they could start the program.
Cory's class sitting on the Stallion Stairs.
 Our "Turkey"
These two pictures were taken during some two of the songs.

Each child memorized a part of the book "Twas the Night before Thanksgiving."
Cory was first.  He did such a great job.
Cory saying his line.
Sorry it is sideways.  I didn't think about that when I was recording.  We don't have a video camera, just our regular camera.  So once I start recording I can't adjust.
These are just two of the many songs that they sang.

Preschool

Kenzie and her cousin, Abbie, had preschool today at our house.  It was alot of fun.  We worked on the letters I and L.
So we did Leaf pictures, Indian corn, and potato stamps with the letter I and L.

Kenzie was so messy, and LOVING it.  Abbie wasn't to sure about the mess so I helped her so she stayed clean.
Their projects.  I took this before I finished the corn for them.  They were done, and wanted to play.
 Love that smile!
She is growing up so fast.

Pumpkin hayride

Yesterday in between conference sessions we went to J&J nursery to go on the hayride to get a pumpkin.  We have missed doing this the last two years, and were excited to go.  We were the only ones on the "trapper" (that is how Kenzie would say tractor) ride to and from the pumpkin patch.  Usually it is so busy so we really enjoyed not being squished, and there was a huge selection of pumpkins.

The Tractor Hayride

The pumpkins they chose.
Cory was proud of himself for choosing the biggest one of group.

The kids had fun getting their pictures taken after the ride.

What a great looking group of kids.

 Aye Matey!

Preschool

Kenzie is so excited.  She is going to do preschool with her cousin, Abbie.  She was so excited to be like the big kids and have a backpack with crayons.
