Go D-Backs!!

Go D-Backs! Our family's first visit to a Major League Baseball game or any baseball game for that matter. It was Awesome!! They played the Pittsburgh Pirates. We have not been baseball fans but it is much better to be there in person. All the kids had a great time and we got tickets for only $5.00 each and a free visor for going. They all wore them including Kenzie. We love good deals!

The outside of Chase field, home of our Arizona Diamondbacks

Now those are baseball bats.

The scoreboard inside Chase Field. A baseball game with A/C that is the way to go. The roof opens up in 5 minutes but they have it closed during the summer games as it was 110 degrees outside.

We had a great view of the whole field. We were up on the upper level but you can still see great from anywhere in the stadium. The kids had a lot of fun watching the game and cheering them on especially when they hit a home run.

They all had on their new visors as we entered the stadium.

Do I need to say anything about this picture?

She loves balls! This was a princess ball that we got at the Disney outlet store for .99 before the game.
She loved it when everyone got excited for a play, she would clap and laugh.

What a good looking bunch.

Just Chillin!

They have their rally caps on! It worked, as the Diamondbacks won 7-0!!

July 2nd- playing with some of the Palmer cousins

Getting ready for lots of water fun.
Cami, Abbie, Pam, Grandma, Sera, Cameron, and Emma
Nathan had the day off so he helped get both the slip 'n slides up and going.
Justin, Devin, Shannon, Kayley, Cory, and Abbie
Kayley racing her cousin Emma.

Cute Abbie Mae playing with the bubbles. Kenzie Mae was so excited to see her. I am still amazed she would keep the hat on. Kenzie won't even consider wearing a hat.
Beautiful Kady.
Sera and Cory playing in the water.
Justin, Devin, and Shannon deciding who was next.
Apparently Grandma didn't want her picture taken.
After Kenzie's nap I was giving her a snack. Her cousin Lucy came and joined us.

June 30th- Our night stay in Vegas

I can only imagine what Kenzie was thinking, "I'm free, free at last!" Too bad that freedom was short lived.

This is a picture from our rooms window. The kids thought is was so cool that not only did we have a hotel room (when we moved we had to go to a couple different hotels, because we hadn't made reservations) but we were staying in one that looked like a castle.

Too bad you can't see Brent and the kids, but it was a good shot of the Excalibur Hotel.

Kid Heaven. They loved meeting the Yellow M&M, and then going into the store.

Cute Kayley.

Terrified Cameron. He was as stiff as a board.

Cool dude Cory.

Pictures on the way to Utah

We took these pictures on our way to Utah. The kids were very impressed with Hoover Dam, especially the new bridge they are building. That thing is huge. (I will post a picture of that later.)

This is my Grandma Ida Mae Palmer. Three of the cousins are named after her, Kenzie Mae is one of them. I was excited to be able stop in Payson and visit with her for a few minutes.
This is my Aunt Carolyn. Grandma Palmer lives with her and her husband Dale. I always love visiting with my aunts and uncles.

Utah Trip- Part one

I have so many pictures to post that I am going to have to do it in segements. We had a lot of fun spending time with family. We were able to spend a couple of days with the Reed's at Bear Lake, and a couple of days with the Palmer's. We were happy to visit, but are glad to be back in Arizona just for the fact that we are done with long drives.

July 4th-Fun

We started out our July 4th celebrations at a chuckwagon breakfast. Brent then went golfing with his brothers, while I went back to the house so the kids could play with their cousins and Kenzie could take a much needed nap.
Kenzie waiting patiently to go tot he breakfast. I still can't believe we got a picture with her headband on. She usually has it off within seconds of me putting it on.
What cute kids!

After lunch we went to the Paris, Idaho parade. It is fun to see this parade because it goes down one side of the street then turns around and comes back the other way.
Bring on the candy!
Kaden dancing with Elise. How fun is that.
Kenzie showing me some of her candy she picked up. "This."

We then went back to the house for family pictures and hang out. We had tin foil dinners cooked outside in a firepit and s'mores for dessert. I forgot to take the camera out to the firepit with me. Kenzie was loving the s'mores.

Watching HSM 3.

And the day ended with the kids sitting outside with Brent (I stayed in the house since Kenzie had just gone to sleep) to watch the fireworks and get eatin by mosquitos. It was a fun day.

Cameron, his cousin Josh and uncle Steven.

July 4th Reed family pictures

I loved this picture. This is a log house that sits back behind the "Bear Lake house."
It is always amazing when you are working with so many people when you can get at least one with everyone looking. Kenzie was having a hard time and did not want this picture taken.

This is all of the Reed grandkids. Kenzie at least wasn't crying in this one. (Thanks, Ashlee.)

Grandma and Grandpa Reed

I had to put this picture of Traci and Shawn because it is so funny. Shawn was holding the pitch fork top on to a shovel. I don't know how they kept the serious face. It turned out great.
